  I went to the practice today for the first time. The staff on reception made me feel immediately at ease. Having had trouble with dentists in the past, i was a nervous patient. The lady on reception explained to me that JA Morrisson was primarily an NHS practice, and he prided himself on making dentistry affordable to everybody, this made me feel at ease. My dentist, Stella was absolutely AMAZING, she was re-assuring, gentle, I felt no pain when she inserted the injections and was very thorough at every stage. JA Morrisson were able to mix private and NHS treatments to come up with the most cost effective solution for me and i liked this as they register you as NHS whether you have a job or not. I had a full scale and polish, checkup, X-Rays costing £16.50 and 2x LARGE white fillings which were £70 each. This compared to other dentists in the area, was unbeleivably good value. If i had wanted amalgam fillings, all treatment would have totalled £45.60 but i wanted the aesthetics of a white crown with the nhs price of a checkup which they were able to provide me. The work looked professional, and Stella my dentist spent some considerable time sculpting my fillings to match and bite exactly onto my other teeth and chose the exact colour match to my natural surrounding teeth. Overall, this is a dentist should be given only 5 stars as any lower score would not match the level of service and quality I received. I will definately be returning to JA Morrison as they have taken the hassle and expense out of visiting the dentist in Britian. A note to add, is that they saw me on a next day, this dentist actually cares if you are in pain and will slot you in, in a good timescale.
